The Vicarage
The Vicarage is a lovely Grade II listed, part Georgian and part Victorian residence with large rooms and original features. All the guest rooms are spacious with fireplaces and high ceilings. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk and real coffee and a stocked mini-bar with drinks at pub prices. There is free wi-fi. Guests have a key to the front door, but there are no locks on room doors.

• The Greenly room looks over the church and has a king-sized bed with en-suite Victorian slipper bath.

• The Parkes room has 2 double beds and ensuite bath with shower above and looks over the gardens.

• The Winterton room has a slipper bath in the room, an ensuite shower room and looks over the gardens.

Vicarage guests have full use of the garden with its croquet set and other games and a guest sitting room, with reading materials and a warming stove. Breakfast is served at The Stagg, a pleasant 4 minute walk away. If the weather or guests’ legs are inclement we are happy to provide a lift. Check in is from 3pm at the pub from where you will be taken to your room, check out by 12pm.

The Pub
We have three ensuite rooms for guests at The Stagg Inn. Two rooms have  baths and one has a shower . All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities and good sized double beds. There is free wi-fi. The rooms are located above the pub so are not guaranteed to be quiet, especially at weekends. There is no guest sitting room, but there is a well stocked bookcase. Dogs are welcome to stay in the pub rooms. The pub is locked at 12.30am and so guests wishing to come in later should stay at The Vicarage. Check in from 2pm and check out by 11am. The pub is shut in the afternoons.

All tariffs include a full English breakfast served at the pub with home-made sausage and bacon, our own free-range eggs, home-made marmalade, fruit and cereals.

Please telephone us to make room bookings, there is a cancellation policy in place if you cancel a less than a week before your stay there is a 50% charge unless we are able to relet the room.  In common with other accommodation providers we do not book all rooms for a one night stay on a Saturday.
