Sunday Lunch £22.50 Sample Menu

For Children under 14: 3 courses £10.50; 2 courses £8.50, £2 supp for adult sized puddings and any other supplements as adults

Sunday Lunch is a three course set menu, coffee can be substituted for a course if desired.

A deposit is taken for parties of 10 or more people. The deposit is deducted from the total lunch bill. Should numbers change if you let us know by Midday on the Friday before your booking the total deposit will still be deducted. Otherwise we will retain £10 per non-attendee. We can only issue one bill and cannot refund deposits and recharge. Should you need to cancel the booking, the total will be refunded if we are advised by Midday on the Friday before.

Starters

Spinach and watercress soup with a little piece of Welsh rarebit
Smoked chicken, bacon, poached egg, garlic dressing, leaves
Beetroot, goat cheese, honey and nut salad
Whitebait with spiced mayonnaise

Main Courses 

Roast topside of Herefordshire beef, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, 
Savoy cabbage and roast potatoes

Crispy duck leg, spiced plums, chard, fondant potato

Roast local rare breed pork, apple sauce, apricot stuffing, roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese

Sea bass fillet, roast tomatoes, samphire and potato dauphine

British quinoa with heritage tomatoes and garden herbs, crispy potato and green salad

Puddings

Lemon tart, Jo Hilditch Cassis sorbet
Bread and butter pudding, custard
Vanilla cheesecake, blackberry compote and sorbet, granola (GF on request)
Two crème brûlées; vanilla and coffee
Chocolate tart, raspberry ice cream
Three cheese board: Perl Wen, Stilton and Hereford Hop
Dairy free: Poached plums, blackberry compote and sorbet, apple jelly and
