Christmas 2017 Menu

For parties of 6 to 30 people £25 for 3 courses

Begin with our home-made potato crisps and freshly baked ciabatta bread

Nibbles £3.50 per person as an additional course for the whole table only.

Cauliflower cheese croquettes; Spiced lamb kebabs; Barbeque pork bonbons; Olives

Starters

William’s Gin-cured salmon with lemon and cucumber

Smoked pheasant, beetroot and candied walnuts

Whitebait, spiced mayonnaise and pickled vegetables

Winter salad of roast vegetables, British quinoa and pumpkin seeds

Main Courses

Crispy duck leg, baked fig, port,  local kale and potato anna

Cod fillet with clementine and herb crust, roast tomatoes, Monmouth ham and sautéed potatoes

Roast and puréed celeriac, mushroom, spinach, hazelnuts and crispy potato

Free-range roast turkey breast, home-made bread sauce and stuffing, roast parsnips, sprouts with chestnuts and gravy

Puddings

Christmas pudding, mincemeat ice cream

Dark chocolate mousse, espresso cream, shortbread

Bread and butter pudding, amaretto and vanilla custard

Coconut ice cream, roast pineapple, coconut meringue, passionfruit jelly

Cheese Course £3.50 per person as an additional course for the whole table only

A selection of regional cheeses with biscuits, home-made pickle and jelly

  • Nibbles or Cheese Courses can replace Starters or Puddings if preferred – Whole table only
  • A pre-order is required 7 days before the party for groups of 10 or more people.
  • A party of 9 or fewer people need not pre-order (unless there are time constraints), but must request the party menu – we are unable to offer a mixture of menus to one table.
  • We are able to adapt dishes or offer substitutes to suit special dietary requirements.
