Christmas 2018  

Menu for parties of 6 to 30 people

£25 for any 3 courses

Begin with our home-made potato crisps and freshly baked ciabatta bread

Nibbles (£3.50 per person as an additional course for the whole table only)

Cauliflower cheese croquettes; Whitebait; Barbeque pork bonbons; Olives

Starters

Smoked trout tartare, beetroot, horseradish mayonnaise and dill oil

Pheasant and pork terrine, apple compote and prune

Celeriac and cider soup with Hereford Ham and Hafod Cheese on toast

Warm winter salad of roast squash, red onion, goat cheese, hazelnuts and pumpkin seeds

Main Courses

Crispy duck leg, spiced pear, Lyonshall kale, ginger and mustard sauce, potato fondant

Cod fillet with nduja (spicy spreadable salami ) and herb crumb, roast tomatoes and

sautéed potatoes

Vegetable Wellington, red wine shallots, potato dauphinoise

Roast turkey, chestnut and cranberry stuffing, sausage and bacon, roast potatoes, sprouts, parsnips, bread sauce and gravy

Puddings

Christmas pudding, brandy sauce, mincemeat ice cream

 Vanilla pannacotta, port baked figs, ginger bread

Chocolate frangipane tart, coffee ice cream

Roast pineapple, coconut meringue, passionfruit jelly and coconut sorbet

Cheese Course (£3.50 per person as an additional course for the whole table only)

A selection of regional cheeses with biscuits, home-made preserves, fruit and nuts

  • A pre-order is required 7 days before the party for groups of 7 or more people.
  • A party of 7 or fewer people need not pre-order (unless there are time constraints), but must request the party menu – we are unable to offer a mixture of menus to one table.
  • We are able to adapt dishes or offer substitutes to suit special dietary requirements.
