Sunday Lunch £23

Sunday Lunch is a three course only menu – coffee can be substituted for a course if desired.

For Children under 14: 3 courses £11.50; 2 courses £9, £2 supp for adult sized puddings and any other supplements as adults

Starters

 

Roast tomato soup with basil bruschetta

Blue cheese, poached pear, apple and candied walnut salad

Pork rillettes with home-made apricot and orange preserve and toast

Salmon cured with Chase Potato Vodka and beetroot, radish, dill and sour cream

 

Main Courses

 

Roast topside of Herefordshire beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes,

kale and cauliflower cheese

Springfield chicken breast, leeks, Coppa Ham (from Hay on Wye) and crispy potatoes

  Cod fillet with fennel, shrimp and parsley butter and parmentier potatoes

  Crispy duck leg, spiced rhubarb, potato fondant and kale

Roast cauliflower, curried cauliflower puree, pickled cauliflower, sultanas, coriander and parmentier potatoes (Vegan)

 

Puddings

 

Bread and butter pudding, crème anglais

Lemon tart, British Cassis sorbet

  Two crème brûlées of coffee and vanilla (GF)

  Chocolate mousse with espresso cream and chocolate meringue (GF)

  Treacle tart with yoghurt sorbet

  Poached new season rhubarb, orange sorbet and granola (DF and GF)

  Three Welsh Cheeses – Havod Organic Cheddar, Perl Las and Perl Wen
